Bulgarian parliamentarians hosted in National Assembly

On July 14, the Head of the NA Armenia-Bulgaria Friendship Group Babken Tunyan, the group member Alkhas Ghazaryan and MP Hayk Tsirunyan met with the members of the Bulgaria-Armenia Friendship Group, the representatives of various committees and the Deputy Minister of Culture of Bulgaria Ashot Kazaryan.

Issues related to the development of Armenia-Bulgaria friendly relations and the deepening of parliamentary cooperation were discussed at the meeting.

According to Babken Tunyan, there is unrealized potential between the two countries, especially in the economic and tourism sectors.

The Armenian parliamentarians highlighted the unique role of the Armenian community in Bulgaria in expanding bilateral ties.

The Bulgarian legislators spoke about the need for friendly relations and the development of ties in a number of areas.

The interaction with Bulgaria within the framework of the RA-EU was touched upon. The process of visa liberalization for the EU countries was presented.

Regional issues were also discussed.
