Baker McKenzie Named in Global Arbitration Review's GAR 30 2026

Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie has been named in Global Arbitration Review's GAR 30 2026, coming in 11th place. The GAR 30 is an annual ranking that recognizes the world's leading international arbitration practices.

The GAR 30 notes, "Few practices have the same global reach as Baker McKenzie, with its network of offices in over 40 countries and hundreds of practitioners globally with experience of international arbitration, covering the main financial and arbitral centres and emerging markets. Collectively, the group is fluent in more than 20 languages, including Kazakh and Vietnamese."

Global Arbitration Review assesses a number of factors when compiling the GAR 30, including:

• The number of hearings of above USD 10 million a firm took part in (merits and jurisdictional) in a two-year period.
• The value at stake in those hearings.
• Performance in the Lexology Index: Arbitration and Lexology Index: Arbitration - Future Leaders (previously Who's Who Legal).
• The number of pending cases in which a firm's members are sitting as arbitrators.The hours a firm billed to arbitration in the past two years.
