Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute launches new website

The Northwestern Mutual Data Science Institute has launched a new website designed to serve as a central hub for news, events and opportunities connected to the institute's work at the intersection of data science, industry and higher education.

The updated site highlights the unique partnership between Northwestern Mutual, Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which brings together academic expertise and industry experience to advance data science education, research and workforce development in the Milwaukee region. Visitors can learn more about how the collaboration supports students, faculty and industry professionals through applied research projects, experiential learning opportunities and community engagement.

Founded in 2018, the NMDSI's vision is to be a world-class institute that transforms our world through the power of data science with a specific focus on artificial intelligence, AI data ethics/bias, financial literacy, behavioral economics and health-wealth inequities. The NMDSI aims to inspire the next generation, cultivate a passion for data and galvanize the brightest minds in the Milwaukee region and beyond to solve some of the world's most pressing problems.
