Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is pleased to announce that Baroness Farmida Bi CBE, Chair of Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific, has been named in Financial News' South Asian Power Brokers list for the second consecutive year.
The list celebrates influential leaders of South Asian heritage who are shaping finance and business around the world. This year's honourees will be celebrated at a special Market Close ceremony and Diwali reception hosted by London Stock Exchange Group and Financial News at the London Stock Exchange on 29 October.
Farmida commented:
"I am delighted to be recognised by Financial News for a second year alongside such an accomplished group of South Asian leaders. Representation matters, but so too does creating opportunities for those who follow us. I hope the continued visibility of South Asian leaders across business, finance and the professions helps encourage the next generation to see what is possible."
Farmida has more than three decades of banking and finance experience and has held numerous leadership roles at Norton Rose Fulbright. She is also Vice-Chair of the Disasters Emergency Committee, Chair of the International Regulatory Strategy Group Council, a member of the Board of TheCityUK, and an Honorary Fellow of Downing College, Cambridge and The Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.
She has previously been recognised by Financial News in its Fifty Most Influential Lawyers and 100 Most Influential Women in European Finance lists in multiple, consecutive years.
