DALLAS - Students will soon have expanded access to Spanish-language debate instruction thanks to a grant from the Texas Bar Foundation, supporting the new Debate en EspaƱol initiative. Launching this summer at Emmett J. Conrad High School, the program will help middle and high school students strengthen skills in public speaking, critical thinking, civic engagement, and legal awareness through rigorous debate experiences conducted in Spanish.

Bond community meetings
Dallas ISD is hosting a series of bond community meetings to discuss future plans for district schools, including three sessions this week. Community members are invited to attend, learn more about proposed projects, and share feedback as the district continues planning for future improvements. The meetings also provide an opportunity for families to ask questions and share feedback.
Career Institute South building dedication
Dallas ISD will host a building dedication ceremony and open house for the Charmaine & Robert Price Career Institute South beginning at 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, at the campus. The event will celebrate the innovative career-focused facility and its role in preparing students for high-demand industries and future workforce opportunities.
