LOS ANGELES, CA (July 19, 2026) - LADWP crews continue to work around the clock on the pipe repairs along Sunset Boulevard. Yesterday, the team successfully installed a new 25-foot pipe segment in West Hollywood and is steadily moving forward with the next phases of the project. While there is no set completion date yet, our crews remain dedicated to finishing the repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

With the replacement section in place, the pipe has been refilled and repressurization is underway. During this process, crews are conducting further excavation to locate and seal any leaks, ensuring that all repairs meet the highest safety and regulatory standards.
