Public Notice: Park Center Drive Road Closure
On April 24, 2025, a signal arm was struck by an unknown vehicle on the northbound lane of Park Center Drive at Sperry Avenue. The signal arm was bent and folded back, damaged beyond repair, and required immediate removal.
To maintain operations, the traffic signal was placed into a flashing red mode, effectively creating a four-way stop at the intersection.
The city has reached out to the vendor for a replacement arm, however, due to the supply chain lead time, the delivery and installation of the replacement is estimated to be in late December 2025.
As a temporary measure, the city closed the northbound lane of Park Center Drive, between Calvinson Parkway and Sperry Avenue, and restored full signal functionality for the remaining three legs of the intersection. The city has placed detour signage and road closure barricades.
We understand this project will disrupt traffic flow and cause slight delays. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
