IRIS Rideshare Service to be Suspended May 1, 2025

(Kansas City, Mo., April 29, 2025) - Due to funding constraints, the decision was made today to suspend indefinitely the IRIS ride-share program effective midnight May 1, 2025.

IRIS service in Gladstone, Liberty, Riverside, and Raytown will continue; however, there could be future service adjustments.

This suspension affects IRIS service in Kansas City, Mo., only. IRIS in Independence, Missouri, Wyandotte County, and Leavenworth, Kansas will not be affected.
