TDS celebrates 10,000 Montana customers
February 3, 2026Company accelerating construction, building fiber to two more communities in the Treasure State
HELENA, Montana - TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) has connected its 10,000th customer in Montana, reaching another milestone as the company plans an expansion and acceleration of construction in the state.
TDS marked the occasion at Helena's Holter Museum of Art, where technicians installed high-speed fiber services and company representatives presented the organization with a gift basket and charitable donation.
Crews continue extending TDS' fiber internet network to more neighborhoods in Helena as well as Billings, Butte, Great Falls, and Missoula. As TDS accelerates its construction in those communities, the company is also announcing plans to bring its network to the communities of Laurel and Lockwood, with work expected to begin later this year.
