As part of ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan and IT Park Ventures held a meeting with San Francisco-based Hypernova Capital. The discussions focused on investments in early-stage Uzbek startups, potential co-investment mechanisms, and expanding cooperation with international venture investors.

Representing IT Park Ventures at the meeting was Financial Analyst Murodali Khalimov. IT Park Uzbekistan was represented by Farrukh Erkinov, Director for Startup Ecosystem Development. Hypernova Capital was represented by Tuğçe Ergül, Founder & Partner, who has extensive international experience working with venture funds and early-stage technology companies.

Founded in 2020, Hypernova Capital operates under a hybrid venture capital and fund-of-funds model. The firm invests directly in pre-seed and seed-stage startups while also acting as an LP in venture capital funds.

Hypernova Capital focuses on technology solutions that transform traditional industries, improve business process efficiency, advance digitalization, and support sustainable development. The firm also builds international investment connections with the Silicon Valley ecosystem.

During the meeting, IT Park Ventures and Hypernova Capital discussed opportunities to introduce promising Uzbek pre-seed and seed-stage startups into Hypernova Capital's investment pipeline.

Particular attention was given to potential co-investment mechanisms between IT Park Ventures and international investors in promising technology companies. The parties explored opportunities to exchange investment opportunities, jointly evaluate startups, and attract additional international capital to companies from Uzbekistan.

Another area of discussion was potential engagement with Hypernova Capital's international network of investors, venture funds, and mentors. Such cooperation could provide Uzbek founders with broader access to international expertise, potential partners, and new markets.

The parties also discussed promising projects in industrial technologies, sustainability, and digital transformation that could be of mutual investment interest.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue, including identifying startups aligned with Hypernova Capital's investment strategy and exploring potential projects for joint evaluation and co-investment.

For IT Park Ventures, cooperation with international venture capital funds and investors is an important part of developing Uzbekistan's investment ecosystem. The fund continues to expand its international partnership network, create opportunities for co-investment, and support Uzbek technology companies in accessing global capital markets.
