Special-Edition Honda HRC Progressive Bodywork Up for Auction

October 2, 2026 - CARSON, Calif.
  • Bidding is open for plastic components from SuperMotocross round 2
  • Parts signed by Hunter and Jett Lawrence, Jo Shimoda and Chance Hymas
  • Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation to benefit from all proceeds

With the 2026 season now complete, Honda HRC Progressive and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation are collaborating to auction the special, one-off bodywork used by the team at round 2 of the SuperMotocross series. The white Cycra plastic parts, which are autographed by Hunter Lawrence, Jett Lawrence, Jo Shimoda and Chance Hymas, feature special artwork featuring a different member of the Imaginary Friends Society, a cast of cartoon characters who help children better understand complicated cancer topics. Additional aspects of the activation included PBTF patients and their families attending a Friday-night dinner in the team's factory pits, where they had the opportunity to meet the riders before cheering for them on Saturday.

The initiative is just the latest example in a decades-long history of collaboration between Honda and the PBTF. The partnership started with the Ride for Kids program, a series of motorcycle events that has grown into a nationwide movement, uniting riders in support of children with brain tumors, while also connecting Honda employees, dealerships, customers and communities to the PBTF's mission.

"This is the third year in a row that Honda HRC Progressive has collaborated with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at a SuperMotocross round, and the riders and team truly look forward to it every season," said Brandon Wilson, Manager of Racing & Experiential Marketing at American Honda. "American Honda's relationship with the PBTF goes back much longer than that, and it has been gratifying to see everyone embrace that history and enthusiastically pitch in to make a difference. I know our fans will do their part by bidding generously and often."

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is the leading nonprofit focused on ending childhood brain cancer, leading the way in funding research into the deadliest form of childhood cancer. Since the Foundation's 1991 launch, its supporters have raised more than $65 million to support groundbreaking research.

"For 35 years, American Honda has been a leader in the pediatric brain tumor community, ensuring no child or family faces this diagnosis alone," said Alissa Karas, Ride for Kids Peer to Peer Manager at the PBTF. "It is a great honor for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation to be back for our third year with Honda HRC Progressive for this special opportunity to share our mission. We were thrilled that the Imaginary Friends Society characters were recognized again this year on the bike kits, and it was incredible to hear the reactions of the racers, who know their characters and the significance they represent to the pediatric brain tumor community. While the kit pieces themselves are being auctioned off to raise funds for innovative research and family support, the conversation started within the racing industry, because this team's leadership is outstanding. More people know about PBTF, the resources we provide, and the difference Honda HRC Progressive is making for our mission, and that impact continues to grow each year we partner at SuperMotocross!"

To make a bid, visit the auction website. For more information, or to make a donation, visit the PBTF website. The auction will close October 9 at 9 p.m. ET.
