Pinellas County Government offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12, in observance of Veterans Day. This includes departments under the Board of County Commissioners, the Property Appraiser, the Tax Collector, the Clerk's office and the Supervisor of Elections office.
The Parks administrative office, Heritage Village and Education Centers will be closed. Fort De Soto Park, Fred Howard Park, John S. Taylor Park, Lake Seminole Park, Sand Key Park, War Veterans Memorial Park and all County beach access areas remain closed to the public due to storm damage, debris cleanup or ongoing hurricane recovery efforts. All other County parks and preserves, including County boat ramps and portions of the Florida Botanical Gardens, will be open.
The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed.
Pinellas County Building and Development Review Services office locations will be closed, and inspections will not take place.
The Pinellas County Contractor Licensing office and the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board will be closed.
The Disaster Recovery Center at the Enoch D. Davis Center in St. Petersburg will be closed.
Pinellas County Human Services office locations will be closed.
The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.
The Solid Waste Disposal Complex will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center, Swap Shop at the HHW Center, and the Administration Building will be closed.
The Business and Customer Services Call Center and the lobby at 14 S. Fort Harrison will be closed. Customers can make payments online and can reach the answering service at (727) 464-4000 for emergencies.
Normal County operating hours will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
