USITC Votes to Continue Investigations on Linear Hydraulic Cylinders from Canada, China, India, Mexico, and South Korea

The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) today determined there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured due to imports of linear hydraulic cylinders from Canada, China, India, Mexico, and South Korea that are allegedly sold in the United States at less than fair value and subsidized by the governments of China, India, and Mexico.

Chairman Brett W. Doyle and Commissioners Jason E. Kearns, Peter-Anthony Pappas, Bart Thanhauser, and David Foley Jr. voted in the affirmative. Commissioner Samuel T. Negatu did not participate in today's vote.

As a result of the USITC's affirmative determinations, the U.S. Department of Commerce will continue its investigations of imports of these products from Canada, China, India, Mexico, and South Korea.

The USITC's public report, Linear Hydraulic Cylinders from Canada, China, India, Mexico, and South Korea (Inv. Nos. 701-TA- 802-804 and 731-TA-1799-1803 (Preliminary), USITC Publication 5800, October 2026), will contain the views of the USITC and information developed during the investigations.

The report will be available on the USITC website by November 16, 2026.
