Last Day of Early Giving Period and GiveNOLA Day
Today (Monday, May 5, 2025) is the last day of the Early Giving Period by the Greater New Orleans Foundation. GiveNOLA Day is Tuesday, May 6, 2025. We encourage everyone to share with their family and friends to donate to Friends of the New Orleans Fire Department as it's the primary source of funding for all community outreach programs conducted by the NOFD and has been used to supplement the needs of firefighters through the purchase of safety equipment. The link leading to the page for Friends of the NOFD is www.givenola.org/organization/friendsofnofd. The minimum donation is $10. To donate to additional fundraisers/nonprofit organizations and learn more about GiveNOLA Day, everyone can head to www.givenola.org.
