"We must strongly recommit to defending truth: every life has inherent dignity and deserves protection"
WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Steve Daines today introduced a resolution commemorating the fourth anniversary of the historic Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which caused the historic overturn of Roe v. Wade.
"Four years ago today was a pivotal moment in our nation's history: the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Since that day, countless unborn lives have been saved, but there remains more work to be done, especially as pro-choice advocates push to normalize the abortion pill. As we reflect on the progress we've made, we must strongly recommit to defending truth: every life has inherent dignity and deserves protection," said Daines.
Senators Jim Banks (R-Ind.), Katie Britt (R-Ala.), Ted Budd (R-N.C.), John Cornyn (R-Tex.), Deb Fischer (R-Neb.), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.), James Lankford (R-Okla.), Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), Pete Ricketts (R-Neb.), Jim Risch (R-Idaho), Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), Rick Scott (R-Fla.), and Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) joined Daines in introducing the resolution.
