Kane Brown Joins Forces With Shania Twain, Nods To One Of Her Iconic '90s Anthems

Kane Brown paid tribute to an iconic Shania Twain anthem.

Brown teamed up with Twain as he delivered his new single, "Boots," on Friday (September 2). The new anthem nods to Twain's iconic 1995 hit, "Whose Bd Have Your Boots Been Under?" "Boots" puts "a fresh, contemporary spin on the classic and bringing together two generations of country music," according to a recent press release. Twain co-wrote "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?," which appeared on her mid-90s record, Th Woman in Me. The country-pop trailblazer went on to become one of the most well-known voices and most influential artists in the genre. She's collected five Grammys and countless other awards throughout her decades-long career.

Brown's "Boots" follows "Woman," an upbeat anthem he delivers earlier this year. He also teamed up with Lauren Alaina on "Never Been In Love," the pair's first duet together in about 10 years (following "What Ifs" in 2016). That duet appeared on Alaina's new studio record, Stages. Brown recently teased "Boots" when he and his wife, Katelyn Brown, made a surprise appearance at his bar in Nashville, Tennessee, where fans gathered for a Shania Twain lookalike contest.
