January 30, 2026 Albuquerque, NM - Chairwoman Barela responds to Univision on the ICE protests in Albuquerque: "If there is any city in the United States that should stand unequivocally with our ICE officers, it is Albuquerque. Many of our Democrat leaders seem to have forgotten that ICE agents are law enforcement officers, and any harassment against and/or obstruction of law enforcement is unacceptable.
