29 July 2026

On 29 July 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus hosted the presentation of the English edition of the documentary biography 'Our President'. The event served as the central feature of the annual seminar for heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Belarus.

The presentation was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, alongside members of the book's team of authors: First Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Pertsov; Press Secretary of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Natalya Eismont; statesman and public figure, Alexander Radkov; and Director of the 'Belarus' Publishing House and Chairman of the Writers' Union of Belarus, Alexander Karlyukevich.

The guests included heads of Belarusian diplomatic missions abroad, MFA leadership and young diplomats, representatives of state bodies, and the academic and analytical community.

Opening the event, Maxim Ryzhenkov characterised the English-language edition of the book as an honest and direct response to the keen interest abroad in Belarus and its path of development, which is inextricably linked with the President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko - the country's chief diplomat. He noted that the publication of the book in English opens up new opportunities for direct dialogue with foreign audiences, enabling a deeper understanding of Belarus's foreign policy shaped with the direct participation of the Head of State.

In turn, Natalya Eismont highlighted the landmark nature of the event, emphasising that the presented edition is the first official project of this format about the country and its leader, created specifically for a foreign-language audience. She also shared the story behind the book's inception, explaining how the initial idea arose and how the authors worked to bring it to fruition.

Vladimir Pertsov elaborated on the practical value of the publication for the diplomatic service of Belarus. He expressed confidence that for heads of Belarusian foreign missions and MFA staff, this book will serve as a true compass and a piece of home to carry in their daily work of promoting the truth about Belarus.
