"While the Trump administration continues to freeze funding and propose plans that would eliminate the Office of Violence Against Women, the stark reality is that one in three women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime," said Shaheen. "At the end of the day, it's Granite Staters who will suffer if state offices and organizations who provide services don't have the funding and support they depend on to provide help, counsel or comfort to domestic violence survivors.
