City of Cape Coral Seeks Community Input for Housing and Development Plan

May 1, 2025

The City of Cape Coral is developing its 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and 2025-2026 Annual Action Plan, which guide how federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds are used to address local housing and community needs.

Residents are encouraged to complete a five-minute online survey, available May 1 through June 1, 2025, to help shape funding priorities for the next five years. Click here to take the survey.

Cape Coral receives approximately $1.3 million annually through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's CDBG program. These funds support projects that benefit low- to moderate-income residents, including housing assistance, infrastructure upgrades, and social services.

Community input is essential, and all comments will be considered in the final plans. For questions or special accommodations, please contact mbabic@capecoral.gov.
