Southbound Dallas Pkwy. closed at Cotton Gin Rd. on Saturday, June 14

(June 13, 2025) Southbound Dallas Pkwy. will be closed at Cotton Gin Rd. on Saturday, June 14, for frontage road bridge widening. Crews will close the road at 3 a.m. Saturday morning and reopen it by 8 p.m. the same day. See attached map (PDF). Detour signs will be posted.

Closures:

  • Southbound Dallas Pkwy. frontage road will be closed between Cotton Gin Rd. and the railroad tracks.

Detours:

  • Southbound traffic on Dallas Pkwy. will detour by turning right on Cotton Gin Rd., then following Legacy Dr. and Stonebrook Pkwy. to return to the frontage road.
  • If you're heading to office buildings on Salt Cedar Way can use northbound Dallas Pkwy. and make a u-turn at the railroad tracks to access the open section of the southbound frontage road.
