MS NOW TO PRESENT SPECIAL PRIMETIME COVERAGE OF AUG. 4 PRIMARY ELECTIONS

(NEW YORK - June 28, 2026) - On Tuesday, Aug. 4, MS NOW will present special primetime coverage of the primary elections in Michigan, Virginia, Kansas, Missouri, and Washington, delivering comprehensive reporting, real-time results, and in-depth analysis as voters head to the polls in key races across the country.

Tuesday's primary elections will mark a pivotal moment in the 2026 election cycle, as voters weigh in on a slate of high-profile races that will shape the November general election, including competitive gubernatorial and Senate races in Michigan, closely watched congressional elections in Virginia, and more.

• Beginning at 8 p.m. ET, Rachel Maddow will lead MS NOW's special primetime coverage and be joined by Nicolle Wallace, Chris Hayes, Symone Sanders Townsend, Michael Steele, and Lawrence O'Donnell.

• Throughout the evening, MS NOW anchor and chief data reporter Ali Velshi will helm the big board, breaking down real-time election results and providing expert analysis of the outcomes of the night's key races.
