This summer, Western Marketplace (ESM) and the Contract Management Module (CMM) will transition to a new platform from Jaggaer, moving purchasing, contracts, and vendor management into a single system. This change will reduce manual data entry, improve compliance, and strengthen data management. This change was prompted because the previous systems are no longer being supported by their vendors and no longer meet Western's business needs, but this created an opportunity to improve the user experience, internal reporting, and controls.
The transition to Jaggaer will require scheduled downtime for both marketplace purchases and new contract submissions. Purchases can still be made using PCards, the Payment Request eSign Form, and the Purchase Order eSign Form. Please see the important dates below.

* For items being paid with current year funds, the item must be physically received at WWU/home address no later than June 30, 2026. Items received after June 30, 2026, will be processed and paid in the new fiscal year.
In the event an item delivered prior to June 30, 2026, but not received in Western Marketplace before it went offline, users must email Accounts Payable ([email protected]) to indicate that the item was received on or before June 30, 2026. The packing list or receiving documentation must be attached to verify the receiving date.
More details will be shared as the transition approaches.
