BUTLER COUNTY, IOWA - U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) today released a memo updating Judiciary Committee members on his ongoing Arctic Frost and Jack Smith oversight based on new findings from lawful whistleblower disclosures.
Recently reviewed subpoena returns show Jack Smith's Special Counsel Office (SCO) and the Biden Justice Department obtained information for at least 639,000 Republican donors, voters and supporters. The earliest donor contribution captured dates back to 2005. The data included:
"This update shows that Jack Smith and the Biden Justice Department collected incredibly invasive donor data - and voter data - beyond what could conceivably be necessary for Smith or his team to fulfill the Special Counsel's mandate. The new findings further corroborate that Smith and his partisan team aimed to map out the entire Republican Party apparatus," Grassley said. "I again call on my Democratic colleagues to join my oversight work instead of trying to defend Smith and sweep his abuse of authority under the rug."
Grassley's memo also notes Jack Smith's SCO and the Biden Justice Department obtained names of Trump campaign personnel, a catalogue of Trump campaign products and information on sales of red MAGA hats, including individual buyers, their purchases and their shipping addresses.
