Oceanside Public Library is proud to partner with The Old Globe, as it brings a free production Shakespeare's Julius Caesar to Oceanside and communities across the region. Directed by Marcela Lorca, this tour will feature a multitalented company of artists.
The "Globe For All" performance of Julius Caesarwill be held in Oceanside's Civic Center Library Community Rooms, 330 North Coast Highway, on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 3 p.m. Light refreshments will be served at 2:30 p.m. Interested attendees can register in advance on the Library's online calendar at oceansidelibrary.org, but attendance is first come, first served.
Julius Caesaris one of Shakespeare's greatest plays. Caesar is beloved by the people of Rome, but after his latest military triumph, his hunger for power makes Senators Brutus and Cassius sense a dictator in the making. The honorable Brutus faces a wrenching decision: stage a coup for the sake of country or stay loyal to Caesar.
