What is Juneteenth?
Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865-the day enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, finally learned they had been freed, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. This festival is a joyful celebration of resilience, history, and African American heritage, bringing our community together through education, entertainment, and connection.
Don't miss this incredible day of fun, reflection, and community! Save the date and spread the word.
