Horizon View community ribbon cutting celebrates completion of new reservoir

Published July 13 2026

The City of Bellevue invites the Horizon View community to celebrate the completion of a new water reservoir and pump station during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, July 15, 12:30-1:30 p.m. at 4809 151st Ave. SE.

The new facility is a major investment in Bellevue's drinking water system, helping provide safe, reliable water service and fire protection for the Horizon View neighborhood and surrounding community.

"We are grateful to the community for your support during construction of this critical infrastructure," said Utilities Director Lucy Liu. "This project is an investment in Bellevue's future and will strengthen the resilience and capacity of our water system for generations."

Horizon View community members are welcome to attend the celebration and enjoy:

  • Fresh Bellevue drinking water and local eats
  • Remarks from city leaders and project partners
  • Water-themed giveaways

Parking is limited

Parking at the reservoir site is limited. Visitors are encouraged to walk, bike, scoot or carpool if possible.
