Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) awarded 434 degrees to 401 graduates following the Fall 2025 semester. The commencement ceremony took place in December at the Pioneer Event Center on the Weatherford campus and included students completing associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs.
The graduates represent a wide range of academic disciplines offered across SWOSU's campuses in Weatherford, Sayre, and Yukon. Degrees include programs such as health sciences, education, business, arts and sciences, and other fields that prepare students for careers throughout Oklahoma and beyond.
SWOSU's academic environment emphasizes small class sizes, direct access to faculty, and practical learning experiences that support student success from enrollment through graduation. More than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs are available, allowing students to pursue diverse academic and career paths while receiving individualized support.

SWOSU welcomes transfer students! Requirements depend on hours completed: if under 24 hours, submit an application, test scores, and transcripts. For more than 24 hours, submit your application, transcript(s), and immunization records. A GPA of 1.7 is required for up to 30 hours; 2.0 is required beyond that.
