Minister Budrys attends the 31st Baltic Council in Rīga

On 14 November in Rīga, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Budrys will participate in the 31st Baltic Council. This is a joint meeting of the body of parliamentary cooperation among Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania-the Baltic Assembly-and the governmental body-the Baltic Council of Ministers.

The head of Lithuania's diplomacy, together with the Latvian and Estonian Foreign Ministers, Baiba Braže and Margus Tsahkna, will discuss plans for further regional cooperation and participate in a joint discussion with members of the Baltic Assembly.

A joint statement of the Baltic Council will be adopted in Rīga.

After the meeting of the Baltic Council, a press conference of the Speakers of the Parliaments of the Baltic states and Ministers of Foreign Affairs will take place at 1 p.m. It will be directly broadcast on the website of the Latvian Saeima (in English, Latvian, and the original) and on the YouTube channel (in English).
This year, the Baltic Council of Ministers is chaired by Latvia, and in 2026, Estonia will take the helm.
