Telephone report of the Chairman of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province Sharifkhon Safarzoda

On July 22, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, after returning from a state visit to Mongolia, had a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province Sharifkhon Safarzoda.

During the conversation, the report of the Chairman of the region on the progress of eliminating the consequences of the natural disaster in the Rushon district was heard.

The Head of State, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, instructed the leadership of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province to fully eliminate the consequences of the severe flood in the Rushon district within 1 month, together with the relevant bodies of the central government of the country, and to provide immediate assistance to the affected people for the reconstruction of their homes and other household facilities.

It was emphasized that the relevant instructions were also given to the Prime Minister of the country Kokhir Rasulzoda and the heads of the responsible republican bodies, and the progress of the reconstruction work is under the direct control of the Head of State.
