WASHINGTON, D.C. (Oct. 14, 2026) - Today, Congresswoman Nancy Mace (SC-01) reaffirmed her commitment to protecting women and standing with survivors by advancing legislation to strengthen victims' rights and hold sexual predators accountable.
"Protecting women and holding predators accountable isn't a slogan. It's been one of my top priorities in Congress. For too long, survivors have faced broken systems while predators exploited loopholes and walked free," said Congresswoman Mace. "We've introduced legislation to strengthen victims' rights, crack down on voyeurism and digital exploitation, protect women and children, and make sure predators, not victims, face the consequences. Every survivor deserves to be heard. Every victim deserves justice. Every predator deserves accountability. We will not stop fighting until our laws put victims first and predators behind bars."
Since taking office, Congresswoman Mace has led efforts in Congress to strengthen protections for survivors, increase accountability for sexual predators, combat voyeurism and digital exploitation, defend the privacy and safety of women and girls, and advance legislation which puts victims first.
