Emergency care close to home: AdventHealth Highlands Ranch ER opens in Douglas County

When an emergency happens, every second counts. That's why having care close to home matters.

On Nov. 3, there's a new place for care in Douglas County: the AdventHealth Highlands Ranch Emergency Room.

"Most of us don't plan on needing emergency care. But when someone you love needs it, you want to know they'll be in good hands," said David Weis, CEO, AdventHealth's Rocky Mountain Region. "This new ER gives the community a place to turn to when the unexpected happens. Our team will be ready to guide them through those difficult moments."

Located at Broadway and Highlands Ranch Parkway, this freestanding emergency room includes triage rooms, exam rooms and imaging on site.

"This department represents more than a new building, it reflects our dedication to making high-quality, compassionate care accessible when our community needs it the most," said Jen Harris, RN, clinical nurse manager.

AdventHealth Highlands Ranch ER is a department of AdventHealth Littleton.
