Free Food Scrap Starter Kits Available for Southfield Residents

The City of Southfield has a FREE program that lets you turn your food waste - veggie peels, coffee grounds, leftovers - into compost instead of trash. Your starter kit comes with everything you need to collect food scraps at home and drop them off at the City's free compost drop boxes.

No registration. No cost. Just show up to any of these pickup spots and grab yours:
