FEB. 12, 2026 - The U.S. Census Bureau today announced new data-sharing partnerships with educational institutions in Idaho and North Carolina for its Post-Secondary Employment Outcomes (PSEO) experimental data product. The PSEO provides earnings and employment outcomes for college and university graduates by degree level, degree major, post-secondary institution, and state of institution, and is used by parents, students, institutions, and workforce agencies to learn about the labor force outcomes of graduates.
The new partnerships with Brigham Young University-Idaho and the University of North Carolina System add data from 17 post-secondary institutions to the PSEO. The update increases PSEO coverage to 952 institutions and approximately 35% of all college graduates in the United States.
The PSEO are made possible through data-sharing partnerships between universities, university systems, state departments of education, state labor market information offices, and the U.S. Census Bureau. Data users can access the information generated by linking graduate transcript records to Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics data via the PSEO Explorer tool, raw files, and the Census API.
