Meet the data and digital experts powering the Kenvue supply chain

Behind every trusted Kenvue product is a network of global suppliers, shifting commodity markets, and thousands of decisions that determine whether everyday care items reach store shelves. At the center of this work is a team of data scientists, market analysts, and procurement experts who translate complexity into clarity-so consumers can access the products they rely on.

Meet the team members who are driving smarter, faster and more resilient supply chain decisions.

Vazgen Shadikian

Senior Manager, Commodity Risk Management

Favorite part of my work: Turning complexity and volatility into clear, actionable decisions.

My job in six words or less: Elevating decision quality through analytics.

Day to day, I'm deep in data, partnering with our digital and finance teams to move core processes off spreadsheets and into robust cloud tools that deliver faster, more actionable intelligence. I help the company understand how much more-or less-it will cost to make our products over the next 12 to 18 months.

We link what Kenvue buys, like resins for bottles or key chemicals, to external commodity indexes and build forecasts that show how those costs are likely to move. That insight lets our buyers and finance partners act early: locking in prices when increases are coming and challenging suppliers when their price hikes don't match market reality.

Emir Sassi

Senior Director, Market Intelligence, Risk and ESG Procurement

Favorite part of my work: There's never a dull moment - we constantly navigate geopolitical tensions, sanctions, wars, tariffs and financial market volatility.

Favorite Kenvue product: Listerine® Pocketpaks Breath Strips in Cool Mint

My role is all about turning complex market data into smart procurement decisions that protect our global supply chain. I work with teams across all regions and product categories to confirm we're paying fair prices for everything from raw materials to logistics - based on real market conditions, not just assumptions.

We track numerous commodity indexes and distill that information into practical tools our buyers can use to negotiate better prices and improve forecast accuracy. We also manage third-party risk and resilience, mapping out backup options when critical suppliers face disruption so products like Tylenol® stay on shelves. The bigger picture? We're using analytics and sustainable sourcing practices to guide Kenvue toward suppliers that align with our environmental and social values.

Sam Markos

Procurement Transformation Global Lead

Favorite part of my work: When the data finally behaves, and everyone thinks it was "obvious all along."

My job in six words or less: I delete complexity for a living.

My global team works in parallel to Emir Sassi's group, leading the technology applications, data, analytics and process improvements for procurement. This involves consolidating and optimizing procurement data across dozens of systems to give teams a single, trusted view of spend; automating price updates so people can focus more on value-added negotiations; building interactive dashboards and piloting AI-powered tools that make insights easier to access and act on.

At the end of the day, our job is to give procurement the tools and confidence to negotiate smarter, drive efficiencies and strengthen supplier relationships, and we're also supporting a more sustainable supply chain by making critical data more accessible-all while bringing people along on the culture shift to truly data-driven decision making. When I came on board, part of my mandate was to define a data and digital strategy and then build the capabilities to implement the plan. And thanks to a lot of incredible work over the past year, we now have an even cleaner, more connected view of what we spend, where and with whom.

Nago Naik

Senior Manager, Procurement COE-Data Analytics

Favorite part of my work: Uncovering meaningful insights in data while collaborating with talented people.

Favorite Kenvue product: I come from a coastal part of India, so Neutrogena® Ultra Sheer Sunscreen SPF 50+.

I lead the data and analytics work for procurement, bridging the gap between raw data and actionable insights. I work closely with our Tech & Data team to pull information from multiple sources and transform it into clear analytics that give procurement leaders a consolidated view of spending patterns, supplier performance and market shifts-all in one place.

Good analytics start with good data, so I spend significant time improving data quality at its source and strengthening governance to ensure the information driving critical business decisions stays accurate and consistent.

Laurent Chevassut

Senior Manager, Market Movement Forecast Procurement

Something no one realizes about working in supply chain: Working in supply chain means continuously balancing market uncertainty, internal priorities, and external partners across the entire organization.

My job in six words or less: Turning market volatility into decisions.

I help turn the complicated world of commodities into clear, practical insights our procurement teams can use. I connect the dots between finished materials we buy and the underlying raw commodities (crude oil, resins, coconut oil, etc.) that drive their costs. We centralize commodity market intelligence and price forecasts, customizing it for different audiences. For example, a regional lead needs different information than a packaging buyer.

The exciting part? We're exploring the use of AI agents that merge raw data with market narratives. This lets buyers ask targeted questions and get real-time insights for supplier negotiations, like having a market research assistant that never sleeps.
