Aimbridge Hospitality Assumes Management of Three Landmark Hotels for Gorman & Company

PLANO, Texas - Aug. 24, 2026 - Aimbridge Hospitality, the world's leading third-party hotel management company, today announced it has assumed management of three historic boutique hotels owned by Gorman & Company, a Wisconsin-based developer renowned for the adaptive reuse of historically significant buildings and the revitalization of communities across the Midwest.

The three properties - The Brewhouse Inn & Suites in Milwaukee, Wis.; The Stella Hotel & Ballroom in Kenosha, Wis.; and Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront in Rockford, Ill. - mark a significant step for Gorman as the developer transitions to third-party hotel management for the first time.

For Gorman & Company, choosing a management partner was a strategic and values-driven decision. The company sought a partner whose culture and operating philosophy would mirror its own.

Aimbridge's culinary depth and lifestyle expertise also made it the natural steward of the existing F&B programs Gorman developed in partnership with Aimbridge's Taste & Theory.

Each of Gorman's hotels is the product of years of historic rehabilitation - transforming buildings that had sat vacant or underutilized into celebrated anchors of their communities.

· The Brewhouse Inn & Suites (Milwaukee): Housed in the original Pabst Blue Ribbon Brewery, a German Renaissance Revival landmark dating to 1877 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 90-suite Brewhouse Inn & Suites is widely considered one of the most distinctive hotel experiences in the Midwest. Gorman transformed the long-dormant brewery into a boutique hotel in 2013, preserving its six massive copper brewing kettles and celebrated stained-glass window depicting King Gambrinus, the patron saint of beer. Its onsite restaurant, On Tap, occupies the former Mill House building and pairs Wisconsin-inspired pub fare with a historic setting of soaring ceilings and exposed cream city brick. The property was named a Condé Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Award winner in 2024.

· The Stella Hotel & Ballroom (Kenosha): The only full-service hotel in downtown Kenosha, this 80-room boutique property restored a 100-year-old building on the National Register of Historic Places - originally the Kenosha Elks Club, built in 1917. The hotel's centerpiece, The Stella Ballroom, is a two-story historic space featuring 20-foot ceilings, vintage chandeliers, and large, picturesque windows opening onto an outdoor balcony, offering nearly 4,000 square feet for weddings and events. The 1844 Table & Mash supper club, Café at The Stella, and the seasonal Crow's Nest Rooftop Bar with views of Lake Michigan are central to the property's role as a gathering place for the Kenosha community.

· Embassy Suites by Hilton Rockford Riverfront (Rockford): The most ambitious of Gorman's hotel projects, this 160-room full-service property opened in 2020 as the centerpiece of downtown Rockford's revitalization. The $87.5 million public-private partnership transformed the long-vacant 13-story Ziock Building into the only hotel in downtown Rockford, widely credited as a catalyst for the resurgence of the city's urban core. Two onsite restaurants, including a rooftop lounge, and over 21,000 square feet of meeting and event space make it a destination for both visitors and the regional business community.
