BOULDER, Wyo. - The Wyoming Department of Transportation, in cooperation with Sublette County maintenance crews, will temporarily close the approach to Boulder Lake Road (County Road 210) at the intersection of Wyoming State Highway 353 on the morning of Monday, Oct. 5.
The scheduled closure will begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to last until approximately noon. During this three-hour window, crews will be replacing a deteriorated culvert that has begun to compromise the stability of the surrounding roadway and approach.
Maintenance teams scheduled the repair for this fall to take advantage of seasonal low water levels in the local irrigation canal, ensuring a more efficient and safer operations environment.
Impact on Local Traffic:
No Access: Local motorists will be unable to access the Boulder Lake recreation area or the Boulder Lake estates from WYO 353 while the work is underway.
Advisory: WYDOT strongly recommends that residents and recreational visitors plan their travel itineraries accordingly to avoid delays during the temporary closure window.
Crews will work to complete the replacement as quickly as possible and appreciate the public's patience as these necessary infrastructure improvements are made
