The Fort Worth Municipal Court satellite office at Vivian J. Lincoln Library will close at the end of September. The final day of office hours will be Friday, Sept. 26, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

"We had expected consistent requests for service at this location after the successful use of our Southwest Municipal Court satellite," William Rumuly, court director, said. "Unfortunately, despite several efforts to increase use, the foot traffic has remained lower than anticipated. After careful consideration, we made the difficult decision to discontinue this location so the space can be made available for other City use."

Residents still have convenient options to take care of their Municipal Court matters:

  • Vanilla Pay cash payments. Pay legal financial obligations at many participating local retailers.
  • Online payments.
  • Expanded walk-in court hours. Now available Monday-Friday, 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the A.D. Marshall Courts Building downtown.

For more information about services and payment options, go online or call 817-392-6700.
