2025 Defensible Space, Community Clean-Up and Sustainability Fair

The Town, in partnership with Mammoth Disposal, has scheduled a Defensible Space, Community Clean-Up and Sustainability Fair on May 16/17, 2025

Town staff/volunteers will NOT be collecting yard waste or household trash from properties. No construction material permitted.

Grab a bag…or two before Saturday, May 17 to clean up our streets, trails, multi-use paths,parks, neighborhoods, and public spaces!

FREE trash bags will be available from the following locations and times. There is a 5-person bag limit.

Town of Mammoth Lakes Office:

• May 1-16, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
• Minaret Village Mall, 437 Old Mammoth Road, Ste. 230

Mammoth Disposal Office:

• May 1-16, Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm
• 59 Commerce Drive

Community Recreation Center (CRC)

• May 17, 9am-1pm
• 686 Old Mammoth Road

Drop your full bags of trash at the Town Yard on May 16-17 between 8:00am - 3:30pm or at the Sustainability Fair on Saturday, May 17 at the Community Recreation Center (CRC) from 9:00am - 1:00pm.
