ABOUT CURRENTS NEW MEDIA
CURRENTS New Media is an annual festival produced by Parallel Studios Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Frank Ragano and Mariannah Amster. For over 23 years, it has been a leading platform for new media art, presenting innovative work at the intersection of art and technology. Showcasing artists from around the world, CURRENTS provides a space for experimentation, public engagement, and collaborations. The annual festival is the result of a collaboration between Parallel Studios, its partners throughout the city, and the many volunteers who invest their time to support this project.
