Chinese Ambassador to Dominica Chu Maoming Attends the Award Ceremony of the “Chinese Ambassador Scholarship”

On December 10, the Chinese Embassy and the Dominican Government jointly held the award ceremony of the "Chinese Ambassador Scholarship". Present at the event were cabinet members including the Minister of Education Hon. Alfred, H.E. Ambassador Chu Maoming, as well as award-winning students from the Dominica State College, their parents, and media representatives.

In her speech, Hon. Minister Alfred stated that China has always been a reliable partner of Dominica. Over the years, China has continuously provided scholarships and personnel training programs, which have boosted Dominica's talent cultivation and made significant contributions to the country's social and economic development. The Dominican government and people extend their sincere gratitude for this.

H.E. Chu Maoming congratulated the award-winning students and pointed out that China has just released its third Policy Paper on Latin America and the Caribbean. China is ready to work hand in hand with Dominica to advance the "Five Programs". He expressed the hope that the young people present will keep learning Chinese, deepen their understanding of China, and actively engage in the cause of promoting China-Dominica friendship.
