Dr. Sulyok Tamás köztársasági elnök fogadta őexcellenciája Michael Wallace Banach érseket, aki 2022 májusától négy éven át töltötte be Magyarország apostoli nunciusának tisztségét.
Budapesti szolgálata végeztével tett búcsúlátogatása alkalmával a magyar államfő megköszönte az egyházi vezetőnek áldozatos és elhivatott munkáját, melyet a Szentszék és Magyarország kapcsolatainak erősítése érdekében végzett.
A köztársasági elnök Isten áldását kérte az érsek további szolgálatára új állomáshelyén, Argentínában.
