CAS Student Commencement Speakers Taraji Ellington and Sidney Murray

This year's College of Arts and Sciences commencement at American University will feature the inspiring voices of undergraduate student Taraji Ellington and PhD candidate Sidney Murray, who have been selected as the student speakers for the Class of 2025. Representing the range and depth of the College of Arts and Sciences' academic community-from environmental justice and global advocacy to neuroscience and mental health-Taraji and Sidney embody what it means to be an AU Eagle.

On May 9, they will take the stage to share their stories with fellow graduates, faculty, families, and friends.
