City of Glendale to Swear In City Officials Following June 2026 Election

Glendale, CA - The Registrar-Recorder certified the election results on June 26, 2026. The Board of Supervisors officially declared the election concluded today certifying the Registrar-Recorder's canvas. The City of Glendale will hold a Special City Council Meeting Today, June 30, to administer the Oath of Office to the City's elected officials.

The certified election results for City offices are:

City Council

City Clerk

City Treasurer

The meeting will begin at 7:45 PM in the City Council Chambers at 613 E. Broadway. The City Council will formally acknowledge the certified election results, followed by remarks from outgoing Councilmember Ara Najarian, who concludes more than 20 years of service on the Glendale City Council.

The Oath of Office ceremony will begin at 8:00 PM, after which the newly seated City Council and elected officials will offer remarks.

Members of the public may attend the meeting in the City Council Chambers or watch live on Glendale TV (GTV) and the City's YouTube channel. The agendas for both the Regular City Council Meeting (6:00 PM) and the Special City Council Meeting (7:45 PM) are available at GlendaleCA.gov/Agendas.
