Young Hearts, Big Feelings: Trailer for ‘The Ramparts of Ice’ Season 2 Unveiled
Netflix has released the key art and first trailer for The Ramparts of Ice Season 2, set to premiere worldwide on Netflix on October 2, with new episodes weekly. The key art captures a warmer moment than the trailer that follows it - all four leads smiling together in a classroom - while the trailer itself reveals hearts quietly drifting apart.
Based on the hit manga by Kocha Agasawa, The Ramparts of Ice follows Koyuki Hikawa, a high school girl who struggles to connect with others and keeps everyone at a distance. She spends her days quietly, keeping to herself except when she's with her childhood friend, Miki Azumi. That is, until Minato Amamiya, a surprisingly pushy guy, unexpectedly barges into her life.
Koyuki, the isolated girl; Miki, the former school idol; Minato, the guy with no concept of personal space; and Yota, the gentle basketball player. Clumsy, frustrating, yet deeply endearing - this coming-of-age ensemble drama of crisscrossing hearts marches on.
As they grow closer, Koyuki and Minato begin to develop feelings for each other that go beyond mere friendship. Meanwhile, Yota finally confesses to Miki the feelings he's harbored for years. Some speak their hearts while others keep their emotions hidden, causing their paths - and their feelings for one another - to continuously cross and pass by…
