TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Lane Closure at the Intersection of Route 141 and Route 273
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) will have lane closures at the intersection of E Basin Road & Frenchtown Road for the installation of Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS). These are devices that help guide vision and hearing-impaired pedestrians through signalized intersections by providing specific audible and tactile queues.
Construction is scheduled for November 16 through December 26 with day and night shifts, weather permitting.
Day shift hours will be 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Night shift hours will be 6:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.
Motorists are advised to arrange for extra travel time, delays as possible; reduce speed and use caution while traveling through work zones.
