RoundTrip Greater Madison is challenging residents to drive less this April through its annual Spring Roll Challenge, with a goal of reaching 10,000 car-free and carpool trips across Dane County during Earth Month.
The free challenge is open to everyone 18 and older who lives or works in Dane County and encourages participants to swap solo driving trips for greener options like riding the bus, biking, walking, and carpooling.
To get started, create a free account at www.RoundTripGreaterMadison.org or download the RoundTrip Greater Madison app.
By logging trips throughout April, participants will see their miles traveled, pollution avoided, and money saved-both individually and as part of the community-wide goal.
Participants will be automatically entered into more than 30 weekly and grand prize drawings featuring gift cards and memberships from this year's challenge sponsors-Festival Foods, Forage Kitchen, Ian's Pizza, Madison BCycle, The Soap Opera, and Willy Street Co-op.
