This interim rule will be in effect for 120 days and will expire on Sept. 15, 2026.

Construction companies choosing to begin work early due to heat must email the Noise Control Office at [email protected] and notify neighbors within a 500-foot radius of the construction site, about the planned 6 a.m. start during high heat, within three to five days of early construction.

This interim rule excludes pile driving, concrete saws, jackhammers, rock crushers and Vactor trucks.

This interim rule does not apply to Sundays and legal holidays.
