Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Announced for the Newly Renovated Regency Park Community Center

Montgomery, AL - The City of Montgomery is excited to celebrate the grand reopening of the beautifully refreshed Regency Park Community Center on May 27 at 11:00 a.m. Located at 5995 Christy Lane, Montgomery, AL 36108, the center has undergone an impressive transformation designed to better serve families, youth, and residents of all ages.

The program will feature opening remarks from city officials, immediately following the ribbon-cutting, attendees are welcome to enjoy a brief guided tour of the revitalized facility.

The Regency Park Community Center has received a comprehensive facelift, including fresh paint, updated flooring, modern ceiling tiles, and a fully renovated gym-updated from top to bottom. As one of Montgomery's largest community centers, Regency Park offers a wide range of amenities, including multiple playing fields, a spacious gymnasium, open play areas, and a swimming pool. The center also provides after-school programming and full-day summer programming for children.

In addition to the building updates, the pool will officially open for the season beginning May 26, 2026. Hours and details are as follows:

• Monday-Saturday: 1:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
• Sunday: 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
• Admission: $2 per person (ages 6 and up), cash only
• *Lifeguards will be on-site at all times to ensure guest safety.
