APCO Members Awarded Nearly $100,000 in Professional Development Scholarships

Alexandria, VA - The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International recently notified 109 APCO members that they will receive scholarship funds from APCO's Silent Key and Commercial Partner Scholarship Program. This year, a total of $99,500 was provided to members to cover training and education in public safety communications. All scholarship applications were reviewed and scored by the APCO Institute Advisory Committee.

The scholarship awards allow members to advance their career and skills with courses and leadership development programs offered by the APCO Institute. All scholarships are made possible through the generous contributions of partners and supporters, including the Motorola Solutions Foundation, the charitable arm of Motorola Solutions.

APCO's scholarship program is offered annually to all members. Applications for next year's scholarships will open on January 15, 2027, offering members another opportunity to apply to continue their education and training to benefit their professional growth and the communities they serve.
